Booking Through Thursday -this weeks question:
What book or author are you most thankful to have discovered?
Have you read everything they’ve written? Reread them?
Why do you appreciate them so much?

Well the author I'm most thankful for would have to be Bill Bryson. I have had a tour of the world, but haven't left my armchair. A brilliant and funny travel writer, who's whit and humour has had me in stitches. I still remember when he went to Sweden and was having problems eating an open sandwich with meatballs on, they were rolling around the train carriage. I was hooting with laughter over that!
I have read nearly all of his books with the exception of three. I'm due to re-read the rest; I could do with a good laugh. Seriously, if you haven't read one of his books, please do!!!

Thanks for the recommendation. My choice is Roald Dahl --- his adult short stories make me laugh (although a few make me groan because of the horror aspect)
Yes Vicky I highly recommend him, his travel around Europe & England a so funny!
Betty I too love Roald Dahl, his books kept me entertained as a child. I haven't read them all so I must have a look at his books again to see which ones I have missed :D
