This week I've chosen Gemma from
First of all I would like to welcome Gemma and thank her for taking part in this feature.
What is your blog mainly about?
My blog is about books, books, books and more books! I'm a little obsessed to tell the truth, it's driving me insane having to read uni books that I really don't want to and putting my own wishlist on hold!!
How did you come up with your blog name?
I originally wanted Passion for Reading but that was already taken, so I played around with different words which would be available and came up with Passion for Novels, which I actually think sounds better than my original name
What inspired you to start blogging?
We did a blog project at uni and believe it or not I actually really didn't enjoy it as much as I thought. Then Dani (Pen to Paper) started up her blog, I decided to give it a go and here I am over a month later loving every minute of it!!!
What piece of advice would you give to new bloggers?
ADVERTISE, to start with I didn't advertise my blog. I wondered why all my blogging friends were getting so many more followers than me! After speaking to these fellow bloggers and going on forums I found how to advertise my blog well and now I get a lot more hits a day than I was previously.
What book would you recommend?
Ahh, there are so many to choose from, definitely the Lorien Legacies, Her FearfulSymmetry by Audrey Niffenegger and Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, but there are sooo many more, my Sunday Sensation post every week highlights my recommendations.
Name three of your favourite authors.
What is your favourite book genre?
I've been particularly into the murder mystery genre lately, but to be honest I'll read absolutely anything! I've found Goodreads really useful for finding books that I wouldn't have normally picked out that were amazing.
Which three blogs would you recommend?
Yours, of course. Pen to Paper by Dani, Books Biscuits and Tea by Vicky and The Littlereader Library by Lindsay ( who recently won my giveaway)
Have you got anything exciting coming up on your blog?
I have lots of books from Netgalley at the minute so I'm hoping to email a few authors off there to get some interviews. I'm also doing a Spooktacular giveaway as well as a Geek Girl blog hop!
Thanks ever so much for having me Jen, I wish your blog even more success!!!
Once again thank you Gemma for taking the time to answer my questions :D Some really interesting answers there!!
