An Exciting Weekend Planned

A little while ago Dani @ Pen To Paper asked me if I would like to come with her to a weekend away at the FForde Fiesta in Swindon.  This is basically a fun weekend filled with all things related to the books by Jasper FForde.  As Shades of Grey is one of my favourite books I readily agreed to come along. I have been trying to cram another book in, just so I don't stand there looking stupid whilst other people there start talking about his books and characters.  I wish I had a machine that could stop time as I would have liked to have read all the books by this author, I do have almost all of them on my bookcase. But as usual too many books and not enough time to read them.

I'm currently reading The Last Dragonslayer and it is really good.  As Jasper is a local author some of the local place names are popping up.  I can tell you it is a strange thing when the main character is named Jenny - like me and also lives in the town I live in........ very strange to read indeed :P

Anyway I'm rambling on.  This weekend has some very exciting events, I will be taking my camera and I'm sure I will be able to tell you all about it when I get back.  The hotel is supposed to have Wifi so hopefully I can give you an update each day but if not then I will be one depressed puppy as I cannot live without my internet ;)

You can see my review of Shades Of Grey HERE

Bye guys and see you soon x

What a fun weekend! I can't wait to hear about it! I wish I had a machine that would stop time too! So many books- not enough time. I haven't read anything by this author yet- but it sounds like I am missing out!
