Goodreads Synopsis:

Boy Nobody is the perennial new kid in school, the one few notice and nobody thinks much about. He shows up in a new high school, in a new town, under a new name, makes few friends and doesn't stay long. Just long enough for someone in his new friend's family to die -- of "natural causes." Mission accomplished, Boy Nobody disappears, and moves on to the next target.

When his own parents died of not-so-natural causes at the age of eleven, Boy Nobody found himself under the control of The Program, a shadowy government organization that uses brainwashed kids as counter-espionage operatives. But somewhere, deep inside Boy Nobody, is somebody: the boy he once was, the boy who wants normal things (like a real home, his parents back), a boy who wants out. And he just might want those things badly enough to sabotage The Program's next mission.

My Review:

* Many thanks to the Publisher for my review copy of this book*

Have to say I loved this one.  Great, fast, edgy and a brilliant thrilling ride from start to finish.  I found that I couldn't put this one down.  Not the sort of book I would go for as I thought it was going to be a bit of a gung-ho lads book; couldn't have been more wrong.  It was cleverly written and not just aimed for one target audience.  Maybe I'm too judgemental on certain books, it would be so easy to dismiss this book. Don't I yell, just don't do it to yourself.  Go get yourself a copy and enjoy the story.

I loved how the character of Boy Nobody developed, you could see each stage in each chapter. Very well thought out.  I really felt for this character.  You were given snippets of his past life and I just lapped them up and wanted to know more.  The chapters were pretty short, which is a bonus for me as I tend to have to put down and pick up books.  I could zip through the chapters and not have to worry about leaving myself in the middle of one.

I'm really pleased I was given a chance to review this one as I think it could have slipped through my net.

Would I recommend this book, yes I would and I also can't wait for another instalment!  Bring on book 2.
