Goodreads Synopsis:
Kyla’s memory has been erased,
her personality wiped blank,
her memories lost for ever.
She’s been Slated.
The government claims she was a terrorist, and that they are giving her a second chance - as long as she plays by their rules. But echoes of the past whisper in Kyla’s mind. Someone is lying to her, and nothing is as it seems. Who can she trust in her search for the truth?

I've read so many good ones this year already. Amy & Rogers Epic Detour, Daughter of Smoke and Bones, Clockwork Prince, all of the Uglies Series, The Fault In Our Stars, Catching Jordan, The Last Echo, Angelfire, White Cat, The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Iron Knight, Lola and the Boy Next Door & Paranormalcy are up there!
My shelf is brimming with awesome books I have yet to read too. Such as Monsters of Men, Insurgent, Anna and the French Kiss, Waterfall and The Immortal Rules. <3
I definitely want to read Slated after reading your review! I love dystopian novels and this sounds like a top notch one. The only problem would be trying to go to sleep after an evenin of reading it! That is, if you even bother to try before you've finished the entire book!
The best one this year has been "Pure" by Julianna Baggott.
Best book this year? I think it's The Iron Duke by Meljean Brook...steampunk, romance, adventure, zombies, it's got every thing! :)
The best book I've read this year is Someone Else's Life by Katie Dale!
