Showcase Sunday #2

Hi Guys!  It's Sunday again and that means another chance to peek at what I've had in the post this week.  I'm doing something different now, so here is my 2nd ever Showcase Sunday post :D

This week all the books I've had in have been e-books.

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vicky @ Books, Biscuits & Tea- what a great way to see what everyone else has had in their mailboxes :D

Books I've Bought:

Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

Goodreads Synopsis:
Since she'd been on the outside, she'd survived an Aether storm, she'd had a knife held to her throat, and she'd seen men murdered. This was worse.

Exiled from her home, the enclosed city of Reverie, Aria knows her chances of surviving in the outer wasteland - known as The Death Shop - are slim. If the cannibals don't get her, the violent, electrified energy storms will. She's been taught that the very air she breathes can kill her. Then Aria meets an Outsider named Perry. He's wild - a savage - and her only hope of staying alive.

A hunter for his tribe in a merciless landscape, Perry views Aria as sheltered and fragile - everything he would expect from a Dweller. But he needs Aria's help too; she alone holds the key to his redemption. Opposites in nearly every way, Aria and Perry must accept each other to survive. Their unlikely alliance forges a bond that will determine the fate of all who live under the never sky.

Existence by Abbi Glines

Goodreads Synopsis:

What happens when you're stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course.

Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.

Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.

Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.

He is Death and he's about to break all the rules.

Under the sky looks good. Oh but I'm jealous. I have to finish aall of my required reading before I can even take a peak at anything else.
Check out blog? No book haul this month, but it would mean the world if you'd take a peak.

I've heard a lot about Under The Never Sky, but the UK cover puts me off because it looks TOO female orientated where I don't know if I will like it.

Is it one that can be read by male and female readers?

PS - Nice name. Why did you name yourself after an ice cream?

I need to check these out. Loving those covers. Thanks for sharing and Happy Reading :)
