The Time Will Come #13

Every Thursday, Jodie at Books For Company hosts The Time Will Come, a weekly meme in which we list a book that we really want to read or keep meaning to get to. These are mostly books that have been on the TBR shelf for awhile now but also they can be books that have just come into my home.  I have a massive to-read pile, it seems to be growing by the day.....

If you'd like to join in?

  • Pick a book you have been meaning to read
  • Do a post telling us about the book
  • Link the post up in the linky on Jodie's blog.
  • Visit the other blogs!

Here is my choice for this weeks Time Will Come:

Goodreads Synopsis:

A terrifying and hilarious journey through the drug world -- from the bestselling author of Popcorn and Dead Famous.

The war on drugs has been lost but for want of the courage to face the fact that the whole world is rapidly becoming one vast criminal network. From pop stars and princes to crack whores and street kids. From the Groucho Club toilets to the poppy fields of Afghanistan, we are all partners in crime. This is a story, or rather a collection of interconnected stories, that takes the reader on a hilarious, heart-breaking and terrifying journey through the kaleidoscope world that the law has created and from which the law offers no protection.

This book has been sat on my bookcase for years and years gathering dust.  I have only read one other Ben Elton book - Dead Famous - which I really enjoyed.  I really should get this read and moved along.  I do have a couple more of his books lurking around too.  I hope I get chance to read it soon!

What books do you have on your bookcases that you just can't wait to read?

I read Popcorn years ago, but I haven't picked this one up yet. You'll have to read it soon and let me know what you think - you know I trust your opinion! :)

Loads of love coming your way!
